Sold one just like this to help buy my bus. Often wish I'd kept it

My brother had one of those Austin pick-ups like yours. The electric starter didn't work, so out came the starting handle each time! :D

Very useful. I,ve had a whole series of various austin and moggy vans and pick ups and have been delighted to have this option when needed. It's like being in a Laurel and Hardy film.

I dont have much 'want' outside the VW marque, I'll ignore Porsches for the moment as they are 'almost' within the clan for the most part. Having seen Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy recently, Im going Citreon!

This is my non dub lust car. Ok, I actually have 8 of them currently. LOL But there is one I lust after specifically. I want a metalic blue sedan with Hot Pants kit. That is what my Mom had when I was a kid. I'm still looking for it! :D

I don't have a pic, but another car I lust after is a Nash Metropoliten. :D

Ok. I'm gonna ask the the stupid question. What is it and what on earth is a hot pants kit??? Sounds rude to me :D

Ok I googled it. What engine does yours have in it?

Yah, when my Mom told me how her Pinto had the Hot Pants kit, I thought to myself, ok mom, what ever you say! Lol I went home and looked it up and sure enough it exsists(sp).

For those that don't want to google it, it's a ground spoiler kit. Plus it has the little spoiler thing on the trunk.

As for the motor size, which one? Lol Actually they are all stock motors. I hav 2 with 1.6's. The gobooom car and the gold pinto have the 2.0's and I have 2 cruising wagons with the v6. I think my 74 squire has a 2.3! Lol so one of every size lol.

A 2 ton car with a 1.6 kent motor must be slower than ya bus :D

LOL, yah it's pretty close. The Pinto is a bit faster then my Westy though. The Westy has alot of wood it has to haul all the time! LOL

Like Clem, I've also got a hankering for old Citroens :D
My first car (ignore the dodgy haircut and Simon Cowell trousers!)

The only car I really fancy at the moment is a 1970 Dodge Charger. A friend of mine had one in the early 70's. Awesome car!

My son wanted one of these, so I built it for him using 100% spare parts. Finished it today...
