I've just changed my front indicators to clear and am trying to buy some amber bulbs. I bought some from halfords which didn't fit and then ordered some from VW Heritage that don't fit either. My bulbs have offset lugs but the ones I've bought don't. Is this because it's a US bus?
Where can I get the bulbs?

Cheers

I got some in mine from Halfords or somewhere like that son , Take one with you or wait till next VW show and get one from a trader there

Try an American car parts supplier, Rodley motors or someone like that.

Are they like these?

but do your current bulbs have a double element and pickup on them? These ebays ones are just single.

Buy some orange glass paint from a model shop. No more fannying around looking for amber bulbs. Good times

I had this problem before, i just filled one of the lugs off, still worked fine :)

my have double lugs and double elements. Its a US van. Only the indicator contact is live though. Will a centred single lug work on a double contact?

I think I just bent one of the tabs over to the centre, worked fine. You may need to take the metal indicator plate out to do this. Be careful of the plastic bulb holder it has quite weak tabs holding it on.....a nightmare if they break.
