Proberbly worried over nothing  but..

I'm just about to order one of Chris's cracking deluxe tachos for my bus, and I was wondering as I've got a 123 ignition as anyone else fitted one (or any other tacho) and had any probs? Or is it straight forward??

Cheers Shaun

I've got both, and no problems at all.

The tacho connects to the coil so I don't think the dissy should make difference, but could be wrong :)

8) cool that's the answer I was looking for 8)

The trigger wire is connected to the coil, but the dizzy produces the 'pulse' that the tacho reads :D

Been reading the 123 forum, and there has been a few issues with the 123 working with smiths tachos, as the pulse is slightly different to other dizzys/elec ignitions, and causing erratic/wrong rpm readings

Knew these have vdo guts and just wanted to be sure
Cheers
