Building up my new engine. Went to fit the CSP carb linkage and found the engine block is not flat at the fitting point, so had to grind some of the metal away.

Joys of an aftermarket Autolinea case... They fit on genuine mag cases perfectly. Where the oil holes in the bearing saddles correct? They had issues with that a few years ago.

The case halves never matched on the one I bought.

Brilliant

In reality an Aluminium case is massive over kill for 95% of street driven engines, especially a tame & low revving bus motor. Yes they are stronger but they are also a lot heavier and a properly prepped AS41 case is good for well over 200hp.

Kerlos - yes the oil holes in the bearing saddles were a little off. I notched the back of the bearings to compensate (as seen on YouTube).
