Curtain Tie Hole

Can anyone tell me what is supposed to fit into the big hole for the curtain ties to be attached to?? I can't seem to find anything on the websites. Or can someone take a picture of there's and I can try to work it out from there.

Probably a big popper of some kind? Big popper in and a pop rivet to hold it in place 8)

In that big hole (a couple of inches above the window bottom line?) will originally have been fitted one of those white plastic cross head (blanking) screws, which are ideal for securing the ties with
