cv boots/gaiters

hello
its mot time soon and guess what ive got to replace two cv boots :roll:
cant remember where the last ones came from but they havnt covered that many miles
been on the heritage site and the best quality ones are £32 :shock:
I assume at this price they are the best quality you can buy
is there a decent quality option avalible (read slightly cheaper) that will last longer than 12 months as opposed to the tat that i fitted last time
or should I just say fook it stop being a tight arse and stump up the money

I got my cv boots from GSF (before I knew better) they are on their 2nd year with no issues. I've said this before. how come you change a part on a modern car and can forget it for ever. Change a part on a bay and it will need sorting again within 12 months :evil:

Despite being crap normally GSF had them in as their 'posher' cv kit.

Id check first when ordering though.

Surely other suppliers have them.

Iv just orderd some 1 from my local motor factors that was around £12 and is a first line and one from jk at £6
First line used to be QH and normally there stuff is fairly good.
Certainly better than £32 is it made of gold lol

As advised i used the lobro ones from gsf
The ones that come with a pouch of cv grease
Time will tell
