ive got one more westy clock with the gray face and chrome ring, these are getting hard to find,i took this clock out of a van five years ago and had it in storage,it was working great when removed but ive tried it and its now now working may need a service as after being stored for so long it may need the back of and a clean.cant see it having anything seriously wrong with it.open to offers.

...again no price, if you want people to bid against each other put it on ebay, are you exempt from forum rules?

IF I WANTED TO PUT SOMTHING ON EBAY I WOULD .I OFFER THIS CLOCK ON HERE SO MAYBE A FELLOW ENTHUSIAST CAN MAYBE FIND THE PART THEY WANT.

OK I WILL PUT A PRICE THAT I THINK IS FAIR FEEL FREE TO LET ME KNOW IF YOU DONT.

£70 POSTED.

somtimes i feel its good to put somthing forsale without a price as before now ive had a price in mind and been offered less from somone whose working to a budget and ive just thought let them have it. if i get a lesser offer and no one betters it then somone gets a bargain.

Were do you get paper weight from, the last clock i sold that wasnt working the guy got it fixed for a tenner these things dont self distruct they are well made, ive seen these clocks sell at shows for well over £150 this was at vanfest, the last one i had went for £130 so maybe your paper weight remark is a bit out of order.and somone may end up with a nice clock for a nice price.

listn this is a forum for people with vans and if somone puts an advert on advertising somthing weather it is in need of repair or brand new why take it upon yourself to be a smart arse and start to write things that are not going to help the seller or a buyer, some people cant afford to pay top doller for things so when somone puts an advert on to sell somthing thats cheaper then why get involved,go and do somthing constructive.people like you can easily ruin a good forum and stop genuine people enjoying there vans.

even a broken clock is right twice a day

good luck with the sale to likewise bay owners, ive seen untested clocks go for silly money on ebay, even non-genuine ones. as the poster says they are generally an easy fix and there are even guides on the net for how to do it. Quite how one guy offering something to anyone tempted becomes a witch hunt i dont know......society these days eh

unfortunetly this is the ;) way things are these days lets hope this forum doesnt end up like vzi, these idiots are allways going to try and spoil things,

I think its all gone a bit far now guys. As above ive seen them go for more than this. We all know its a very expensive part. Good luck with the sale

well said hopfully it will go to some genuine early bay enthusiast on here.lets hope theres no more mindless remarks on anyones posts on here.night all. ;)

Got to agree in part with vwdayz, this is a "For sale thread" if it hasnt got a price its not for sale it then becomes a auction/best offer type of thing.
Cant really see how you are helping the enthusiast by getting them to offer a higher and higher bid against fellow enthusiasts until a price you are happy with (or until you dont get a bigger offer) is reached.

"sometimes i feel its good to put something forsale without a price, for those working on a budget"......come on who are you kidding. Put a price on it that you feel is fair, it will either sell or it wont. If it dosent then you can help those poor enthusiasts on a budget by lowering your price.

Dose the capital letters thing meann you are angry............

£70 for the clock sounds about right, and they can be easily fixed (serviced) as their isnt much to go wrong.

Getting back to the "rules", ive been pulled before now and i think its only fair you should be too wolsfsburgvw, after all rules are there for a reason. Not everyone is as concerned about the enthusiast as you seem to be. ;)

that was my thought too. as a potential buyer i hate seeing ads for stuff with no price .... and of course it is against the forum rules. of course i wish anyone well in selling something to a a buyer looking for said item.

There is also a rule about chatting shite in other peoples for sale threads(or in this case offer). If you don't like what you see, browse on or PM the seller.

+ now i've added to it :( .... mods please delete all the above none relevant posts

aah ...... but all this "shite" is bumping his item up nicely. there's no such thing as bad publicity didn't someone say?

Trying to find a price and pointing a seller in the right direction is helpful to most.
Your right about writing shite in other peoples posts, I bet you wonder why you did it now..
