days out and about in Cornwall

lovely weather today, jubilee pool on Penzance prominard looking great and very inviting indeed 8) its just across the road from our house and i havent been swimming in there since I was a kid :roll:

looks great! this thread has got me thinking about a few places we'd like to visit when we're down in August

Cornwall is a wonderful place, sometimes i wish i lived else where so i could visit :lol:

went to Truro today free parking down by the play park and nice stroll along the tidal river into the city centre (about 1/2 mile), the on to Porth Towan lovely beach and free parking, restaurant /cafe is rubbish on the beach tho

been off to Cape Cornwall today, lovely place, national trust parking so free for me 8) little stationary cafe van thingy do a very nice pasty

a latebay pulled up next to us nice looking van, couldnt talk to the owners as I think they were from Sweden, but the van was a uk reg maybe hired I dunno but would have been rude not to take advantage of a photo opportunity, a splitty pulled up later but gotta draw the line somewhere... 8) only joking battery went flat :msn4:

travelling up through St. Just roads nice and quiet 8)

almost fooled myself I was in California but no local morrisons this morning 8)

malpas in Truro 5 minute walk from city centre, little woodland trail leading to nice pub with a stroppy barmaid :roll:

cheers guys glad you like em, off out and about on Wednesday thinking of heading off up around Newquay, Padstow area, I'll update 8) the weather has been lovely down here for a few weeks now the odd day of light rain, but 90% of the time bright sunshine 8)

Cornwall takes on a whole different feel when travelling around in a bay, random pedestrians wave and smile...its good to spread happiness 8)
