Delux interior door opening handle cups

Just fitted chrome delux door furniture to my van .I have a problem the black cups that cover the screw that holds the door opening handles to the door dont fit i ordered some from c&c and they have a 311 number on the back (type 3 ) parts.I noticed the handles have a 411 number on them (type 4) but was told they were the same part.So what im asking are they diffrent or am i being a bit of a twit
