difference in the tinwear on sp and tp

Where is the differencein the tinwear between the sp and tp is it i presume it will be different round the heads, but does it fit to the body the same. Where the rear apron fits up to the engine is the shape the same there or do you have to use a mix of both types to put a tp engine into an early bay? Just trying to come up with a solution to my engine problems. I have two tp and a sp with the wrong size heads. Can anybody help?

Under cylinder tin and rear/pulley tin is I think the same. But because of the 'dog-house' oil cooler
on the TPs the front 'apron' is different where it exhausts the hot air. Plus of course the fan
housing itself is different and as you surmised the head tins.

Can be all sorts of differences with the tinware, depending what the donor tp came out of (bay? beetle?) and how much of the donor tinware you have / are looking to adapt.

If it's a beetle based lump you have in the tp and you've got a fairly complete set of tin for it, you might find one of these the simplest solution:
