disc brake conversion advice

now ive obandoned my beetle project im thinking of doing a few bits on the van,

i was interested it knowing some hard facts on a disc conversion :mrgreen:

mines a 68 and isent the servo asisted.

what i wanted to know is how much better would disc brakes be.il not be adding a servo. basicly just swoping from drums to disc brakes, on the current system.who has done this on a non servo brake system and how much beter were the brakes?

also,which set up did you go for?i dont want to spend loads just make it easyer to stop the old girl.

will in increase the track by much?
