I use mine pretty much year around. Only time I leave it at home is if it raining when I go to leave for work. Rainy days I take my PT Cruiser. Now if I'm out and about in the bus and it starts raining, oh well. I just deal with it and keep on driving. I still have at least one leak issue I'm trying to track down so that is why I usually drive something else if it is raining when I go to leave the house.

I'm in Sacramento CA so it doesn't snow here. If it snowed I wouldn't be driving my bus. Course, I don't like snow so I won't live in it. :D Heck, I need to move to San Diego where it seldom rains. LOL

I finally figured out what was wrong with my heater so the cold weather doesn't bother me to much anymore.

I ride my Vespa or Katana to work most days to save on parking, when its really pissing down or too slippery for a bike I use the Van . the heater is ok it keeps the screen clear and will actually get hot on a 5 mile motorway run.
Unless you have access to a dry garage its better to drive them regularly it helps the air out and stops brakes and things sticking up.
Used mine today for work as parking is free on Sunday.

using ours as a daily at the moment

thinking about fitting a propeller to get me through the monsoon

Been running mine (Greater Glasgow/Strathclyde region) since Jan this year , one thing , the heater, or some system nec. if only to clear screen, proper screen operating jets also required cos it so unsafe without >thou the water in my screen bottle froze last week(guess who had only water in same ?!)

Mines been my car the last week or so since my car died. The screen clears the frost ok and whilst its been nice at times to use it, most times its crap I reckon :D and frankly, I cant wait to collect my new car tonight and put the van away again till spring.

There, I said it.

Mine gets used every christmas to collect the tree :) - then it gets taken off the road for all the jobs that are lined up, would rather it be apart in winter than summer!

With all the salt they put on the roads, how do you protect your bus underneath?

Anyone got/recommend the stone chip stuff? Or are you just jet washing the all the time?

As soon as I receive that long awaited call from Dubtricks !! I too will be using my bay in winter, starting with a 237 mile drive home. Best Xmas present ever :D

Mine has to sit on the driveway all year round so it does get used on the many pleasant days we do get in winter, although obviously not as often as in summer. Brighton Breeze was 9 weeks ago  and the bus had moved just once since and then only on the drive. Until today, when we went on a little run to the supermarket. Started third turn of the key and after a minute or so holding it on the throttle, ran a treat. Wish I'd had more time to go for a good cobweb blowing run, maybe next weekend? Brought lots of smiles to faces as we went down the road but none as big as mine, had missed driving the old thing, more than I realised :D
We will be out again very soon, think the recent heavy rain has washed away the little salt the council had spread. Don't mind the cold ambient, plenty of heat comes out onto the screen warming the cab area nicely, the knackered door seals mean fresh air so it doesn't get too stuffy, a win/win situation all round methinks. ;)

I love my bus. :D
