Schofields do a repro that is not an accurate repro, but is OK.

Klassicfab have started making them but as with most KF bay window stuff, its impossible to get hold of (in my experience) -

http://www.klassicfab.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=1146&Itemid=29" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Autocraft keep talking about doing them - I have asked them at Stanford Hall for the last 3 years and they keep saying they are going to do more bay stuff but I guess this years virtual lack of any Bay stuff on their stall tells the story.

i really dont get why no one makes these fair enougth if it was a part people dont use but even the good buses usually need one.

guess il be fettleing one again.

thanks for the info

Autocraft are very close to finishing the battery tray, i think they have tooling made up and everything.

Thats good news strutt, thanks for posting. Maybe I was being a bit negative about Autocraft - I hope that it won't be too long now before we're all buying decent Bay panels from them!

i couldent wait so orderd a pair of rights from heratage.wrong ones came looks like they could be splitty ones there about 3" short.

rang them up to be told that i had to fill a form in on line as thats the only way to do returns now?so that delays things even longer, ive got to wait for someone to read the email now,why the chap that answerd the phone couldent sort it so i could get some more orderd either from them or somewhere else il never know grrrrrrr.

a pair of correct autocraft trays would be great

Good morning,
We are in the process of making the tooling to be able to make these but at the moment we have no timescale on when we are going to be able to produce them. Its probably not going to be something that we will be able to do for a while yet. My apologies.

thinking out loud now but dont you just turn a r/h tray upside down???
maybe i'll shut tf up now :shock: :oops: :p

ye well thats what people do but its not ideal if you want it to look perfect.

you need to drill the batery clamps off, turn all the lips round so there the right side and then theres the slope in the corner that slopes the wrong way not to mention all the pressed bits that end up the wrong way round.

you can just shove it in tho if ure not botherd what it looks like :mrgreen:

Chris - this is what I did, cost a bloody fortune for the corner and took ages to drill out spot welds and unpick, but does look original, which, like you, is important to me!
