With some sunny weather forecast and 3 days till the big return to work, may have time to sort a couple of things on the van (1971 RHD) ahead of MOT
My driver's door is getting more difficult to pull shut from inside and I assume it's because it's dropped slightly
I now have to wind window down and pull/lift at same time
How do I adjust it?
All/any tips/help appreciated
cheers

If the hinges have excessive wear adjusting them will make little difference tbh

Hiya Wanna,

Yes, as Westy infers a drooping door is not a good thing. You can try adjusting/tightening the hinges but it's more likely that you are experiencing metal fatigue, wear, or corrosion in the area of the hinges. Those problems may be in the hinge and pin (which definitely can be fixed with some work) or in the metal of the "A" pillar (or door) which is going to necessitate bringing out the "heavy guns" of welding and metal replacement.

Could just be worn hinge pins, I think its possible to put new pins in, if the hinge its self is worn, it maybe possible to get the bores reamed and then fit norglides bushes and new pins.
