We’re the best place to collect ?If you want one of the flags, I've got them.
Brilliant, how many are there ? We was discussing this on the weekend. We are pretty much all committed to really making our presence felt and more importantly noticed. We have all been slacking a little and need to push the Earlybay more as a club perhaps? All thoughts welcomed. We’re starting straight away with trying out new standards and styles of camping and displays at our new area (FLAT) at Dubs At The Castle. There are a heck of a lot more other types of VWs than Earlybay as these were produced for the least amount of years of any of the various models. So what we are lacking in numbers , we can make up for with style and resourcefulness. So all these things can be implemented from the get go at the next meetings. The Earlybay flags will be a fantastic and iconic announcement that we are upping our game. All suggestions are appreciated as a bit of brainstorming has produced several great ideas so far. We are being aided and assisted by a certain someone, a rather gracious and lovely young lady whose photographic eye leaves most of our photos in the shade. Apart from displaying the flag, there’s been very little to announce to the VW world that the Earlybay is here at any given event for several years. The only one shown this year is Scotties own personal and custom made Earlybay up a pole style flag. I do think that flags really brighten any display area with lots of colour and usually visual movement, so mental note to myself to bring my own flag pole and various flags as I just haven’t bothered with them for several years, mine is usually a Jamaican flag with a pic of Mr Bob Marley on and the Red Baron if there’s enough wind. So anybody coming and has a flagpole, please try to remember to bring them. I’d like anyone entering that lower field to really want to go and see what all the flag waving and Earlybay s displayed is all about. Scottie came up with an idea that I wasn’t initially over impressed with, but after just a second or two I’m not only impressed but really quite excited about and perhaps a little egotistical club bonding to boot. I’ll leave it to him to fill you in or not as it may be an on the day thing. I’ll try and get this on the front page as it were on General to ask for more brainstorming and ideas. If you want one of the flags, I've got them.

Sorted at last, I'm going down on the Thursday, is anyone else?.Don’t think you need club camping just buy general and camp with the early bays. Ask one of the boys to spk to Dave ref the Thursday night.
I be down early Friday Gaz around 10am ish.Sorted at last, I'm going down on the Thursday, is anyone else?.
Going to head down Thursday now and leave from work. Gate shuts 9pm on Thursday evening.I’ll be heading down Friday afternoon.
That’s brilliant, I can sort the flags pole as I may need a new pole for myself and we can do that. I can collect the others from you at yours or at Nicks or wherever, so let me know what’s easiest for you. Are you going to the Castle Wig ? You know it’s a great show. You could T6 behind us or tent or top bunk in mine if you like, it’s an extra spacious bunk and you’re nowhere near as fat as me.There are two of the early bay flags, but only one pole as the other was returned damaged a while ago.
There will be a replacement pole at DatC if someone can collect it from Alex at Autocamp/Flagseller.
If you want to fly both then you'll need to collect the remaining pole and flags from me.
I’ll try and get tooled up on Thursday and just Stellas to sort on Friday morning and get there before lunchtime. Anybody else gonna bring some firewood and I’ll bring a gazebo and Gabs has a nice one as well. That should mostly sort us out. I did promise. Nick that I’d give him a hand driving cars over to Caldicot on Friday and probably the afternoon.
Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,nearly here
