As per title. Using the grill for a wee while the other day & the whole unit got quite hot. i.e. The whole white bit & the knobs too.

Is this normal. It was lit correctly i.e. It was not burning from the jet but at the burner unit.

Sorry if this should be in Technical or Camping.

Phil.

Blue flame all the way through ? Should denote correct flame picture and complete combustion.
I would take the time to contact the manufacturer if you are at all worried.

Can't find Dudley appliances on the net.
Ask somebody on this forum who is a gas engineer near you.
They might even pop in and check it out for you on their rounds.
No harm in asking.
I'm in Somerset so can't help sorry.
