Its one cruise I really want to do but unfortunately 2 years in a row I've not been able to attend.

Pics and stories please ... decribe those pubs and stopovers ...

Going to hold you to that promise Aaron! Everyone is welcome....it's got to be the ultimate VW Camper Holiday in Ireland

Website is at: http://www.eireball.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; if any of you have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about :D

I'm gonna combine it with a meet with the other half of the family, not been over to Dublin in years....and this really looks to be one of those fun cruises.....

This went right past my house one year, but sorry i wont be attending, (for reasons id rather not discuss  (long story))

if your in the country Araon gimme a shout, i know a place for the best pint of Black Stuff

I'll remember that.....
I got into guiness as a kid 7 years old in Dublin at a family wedding, me old grandad kept sending me through to the living room for a bottle so I would bring 1 for him and 1 for me  got a pic somewhere of him in the chair pissed with me propping myself up on the chair in a shamrock green velvet waistcoat pissed

Classic!

I reckon that needs to be found, scanned and posted

I won't see it pass this year, route runs 25 miles away on the Tuesday.

I worked for Guiness for a while and the stuff in the bottle was awful, the draft is a nice drink though, i hope the bottled stuff didnt put you off

I can imagine picture in the waistcoat

I'll be doing it too ,maybe not the whole lot as other years but as much as I can .
The best thing I can say about it is it takes at least a week and two full days sleep after it to come back to reality again .

I am going to do a eire show next year, never been to Ireland but would blinking love to go as a few of my mates are Irish and they keep on at me to go, so next year it is!

Johnny get that kettle on!

Ill get a few hundred bottles of Armagh Cider on the chill!

I am going to look at doing more than the day Johnny so youmay need a few more!

Posting this whilst on family holiday in Ireland so shouldn't really be on line

Slightly off topic but:

I have an acre of land in County Galway where I'm restoring an old mill, I only said the other day it would be great to get lots of the EB guys over for a long weekend or similar next year. Anyone up for a few days/long weekend in County Galway?. Approx 2.5 hours from Dublin and an hour from Lahinch (surf centre of Ireland) so thought could combine camping and a run to the beech etc, space for at least 30 vans in the field.

Perhaps we could combine it with a leg of Eireball 2009?

If anyone is seriously interested I'm happy to make arrangements etc, might need an artic for the delivery of Guiness & Cider though

Sounds like a great idea graham :D

i know some really nice secret spots for less crowds as well  , im too fat to surf them myself now

just had an idea, you could have a paint party

30 EBers should get it done in no time

Where in Galway?

Joval

The Mill is at a place called Liss which is betwen Loughrea & Woodford on the R351 (I think), on the border of County Galway and County Clare.

Currently staying on a campsite in Doolin on the west coast (on line via a vodafone 3G card)

Thanks for the responses, sound like I better put a plan together, but Johnny painting is a long way off, plenty of stonework, render, roofing, windows etc to do first.
