Whilst I like the EMPI Trigger Shifter gear lever I fitted some time back, it is annoying that it hits the handbrake handle when selecting first gear.
Does anyone know whether it is possible to shorten the shifter by an inch or so?

Thanks...

With the handbrake applies? Adjust the handbrake. It shouldn’t be coming out far enough to hit the shifters.

Otherwise there is something amiss, I had an Empi for a few years as well as fitting them to other buses and never had that issue.

I shortened the handbrake lever slightly as I wanted to replace the handbrake handle with a nice black alloy one but couldn’t get the old one off.

Chopped it then fitted the new handle (secured with grub screw) and I can now just get 1st with handbrake on for those pesky hill starts [emoji106]

How many clicks does your handbrake require before it fully engages?
