Hey!

so i'm just about to fit my engine into my bus. Its a recycled D code case.. Basically, I got an adaptor plate to fit it into my bus, but looking at it now it already has 2 holes drilled and tapped and not the bottom one?! my first question is...

Can I drill and tap the bottom hole to fix my moustache bar correctly? To me it looks like its just a solid lump so should be able to?

Note the top 2 holes are M8.. Ive read there suppose to be M10 and the bottom hole M8. Would I open up the top ones to M10, or would M8 suffice?

Has anyone tried it with this case? Dont want to **** it, but also the adaptor looks dodge as hell.

2nd question.. does anyone have the dimensions of the moustache bar ( I forgot the name) studs? mine only has the bottom one fixed!

pics of what I have, help me!

specs as per rat well is
top 2 holes M10x1.5 28mm deep
Bottom holes M8x1.25 28mm deep

anyone know if this sounds about right? bit squeaky bum time drilling 28mm into the bottom stud
