engine mounts

is there a better mount you can buy?

i went surfin over weekend and came back van drove like a dream.

but noticed when i got home that the engine was lower than normal.
then on inspection i foubd out i have broke drivers side mount.

want to replace this soon as but wanted to know if there is a stringer or better replacement availible

let me know what you think or know guys please

There are upgraded urethane mounts called Rhino mounts for bugs like this

I think you'll find that they only do upgrades (G/box mounts) for Splits.

I've enquired in the past and no-one i found actually did upgraded mounts for Bays. :?

its on a early 69' bay window mate
only after strionger 1's as this is the second set i have had so far in ownage of the van

Those are for Beetles not for Bays.

Being pedantic for a moment, what you said was "bug", most people do not read these posts properly so will have missed that fact. I have discovered that you need to spell it out in words of one syllable. I'm not having a go at you but you also never said that they may have a bus offering, or did I miss something. AS far as I know no one does urethane engine mounts for an early bay.

its ok /hug, i know your not having a go, i was searching hard to find upgraded engine mounts for buses but couldnt find any, in some cases companies may have a newer product but not advertise it. I just thought it might be a lead?

With alot of high powered street and drag buses around now its gettting more popular, maybe someone wil come up with something soon?
