So what kind of works you taking on SK?

anything while i get started, welding, painting, engine stuff while still doing a bit of building, painting, decorating on the side to bump up the cash flow :D

evenings im still gonna be a stripper/male model

Might be more than just the driveshaft boot on my van SK......

whilst crawling around underneath the bus yesterday getting the underside of the bus, me, and my drive covered in Anchor Wax  .....bloody horrible job...

......i noticed that all 4 balljoints have split rubbers which has NOT pleased me as the previous mechanic assured me they'd been fixed.... serves me right for not checking it I guess.

note to self to sack the said previous mechanic...

ho hum.....still, more than happy to put the work your way SK, if you want it that is...? speak to you in the week matey.....

Carole

Good luck with you new ventures SK! Hope it all goes well for you.I've been a mobile mechanic self employed for 2 years now, working in main dealers previously since 1992.Don't look back now, wouldn't go back to working for someone else now thats for sure.I don't specialise in VW aircooled vehicles though, just do whatever cars/vans come my way! And there are plenty out there to keep me busy day and night.

cheers VWAIRCOOLED, ive kinda fallen into it after people telling me how much they have paid for poor quality work, im not the greatest mechanic in the world but i wont BS people so hopefully it will work out.
fingers crossed

does that mean yer gonna signwrite yor panel??

Get some cards knocked up man start distributing them at the meet..

i couldnt signwrite my bus, but free slammedkustom tattoos for the first ten customers

cards are on the cards, along with world domination and twins

Careful with vista print 'free business cards' apparently if you read the small print the cards aren't free they end up charging you £10 a month for the privelage! Thats why they ask you for your bank details before you get them! Happened to someone I know.

im sure there is a blunt stanley blade, a ballpoint pen and a pot of ink somewhere round here, free sk Tats for everyone at the EB campout!
