Engine sizes for my '68

thinking of putting a thurrock 1914cc engine in the bus from the engine shop with twin 44 idf's ( fed by a facet fuel pump ) and pertronix II electronic ignition, is this a bit of an overkill and what will i be looking at cooling wise? :roll:

I would have an external oil cooler and a fan. But each to their own

External Oil Filter and remote cooler (with FAN) and you'll be rocking and rolling,

That 1915cc won't be overkill as it will have crap heads and a lazy cam in it!!!

Thats a valid point, getting a decent cam and working the heads are major power gainers in any engine.
When me and my dad did our bmw, getting a ported and polished head and a cam kit really got the power up.
Its 2.3L straight 6, but ticks over like a V8

Well it did, head gasket went and filled bore with coolant
