Engine tinwear differences query

Quick one... What differences are there in engine tinwear between a 68 and a crossover? I am thinking of getting a crossover with no engine, and need to know what bits I will need to source to fit a twinport 1600. I gather some of the 68 bits that I have are difficult to get, so also I need to know what bits not to chop around and put to one side instead. Thanks!

its the same as late bay,crossovers,the fronts always early,rears always late.i think its a time warp :roll:
