Hi Sparky,
Bit far for me SkegVegas. Was thinking of having a run out in my '63 Notchback(sorry for swearing on this site) that's been in a lock up for 21 years! Had a couple of local drives out but think SkegVegas might be a bit of a stretch for it.

I saw that there is a festival this weekend "VW Festival 12th - 14th August 2022 at Harewood House, Leeds. Might be worth checking out if not too far from you?

I'm off to Vdub at the Pub soon, 19th-21st Aug , way down 'sarf' though. Short walk into Wimborne which is nice too .

Built in the Late 80's early 90's buy a guy called Dave in Norwich. He had it in a few different paint schemes, I brought in about '93-'94. Lost the brakes in about '98 so parked it in a lock up in 2000 and pulled it back out about 18 months ago. Have been slowly getting it roadworthy since. Had first drive on road Monday night in 21 years! Hoping to take it to a little local meet somewhere soon.
