Had a great run to Brean yesterday, but after the 300 mile round trip with no issues, a couple of probs have come up.
First one is odd.......the brake lights(not side lights) stay on , even after the ignition is off and key removed. They go off with a sharp hit of the pedal, but don't understand why the circuit is still live , and cant find the brake light swithch , where is it ??

second, im gonna remove the brake drum in a minute(unemployment has its benefits..apparently) but why would the one nsr hub get hot, almost too much to touch....the others stone cold even afer 150 miles at 50mph !

The hub being hot is down to brake adjustment you will need to back off the offending wheel.

The brake light switch is screwed into the brake master cylinder which is under the bus, these do fail and sounds like what is giving you trouble.

Not sure about the brake lights but the drum could be a collapsed flexi brake hose on that side. The inside collapses letting fluid through but can't return and keeping the brake shoes pressed out on to the drum.
I had the same problem. It was an easy fix.
Whip off the drum and try and push the brake wheel cylinder in. If it doesn't go more than likely it's the flexi-hose :)

thanks guys.......although "whip" off the drum is tricky....mine is pre Aug 70 , so its got that f****in great hub nut to remove as the hub and drum are one piece according to mr haynes.......never had to do that before !
