Im hoping to receive my new engine this Fri.

Ive already fitted my CSP brake conversion kit but ive still got plenty to do this weekend:-

Remove engine & g/box.

Clean engine bay.

Fit new g/box, clutch cable, oil cooler, oil filter, starter, engine & exhaust.

Fabricate engine support bar.

Fit & wire up fuel pump.

Re-wire dyno to alternator.

Wire up gauges.

Hopefully thats it but no doubt other little things will appear too!

Interior can wait hahahaha............

Sounds like a sweet donk there. Could you do me a favour and take a pic ( when you get your hands clean)of your fan assisted oil cooler please? It sounds like an interesting piece of kit. Not that the rest of the motor is dull by any means.
Thanks,

Once the engine was removed and gearbox lowered i noticed the brake pipe connecting the 2 rear flexi-hoses was rusty.
Pipe replaced and brakes bled.

Next up was to start on the wiring, so a trip to the shop for some extra wire and connectors was needed.

Rained off for some of the day, i drew out the wiring so once i got started on it id know exactly what was what.

Mean while i decided to clean up the chassis rails and treat them as surface rust had occured.

Probably the most difficult part of the job was to work out how i was going to fabricate an engine support bar as the original one doesnt fit.

This will get sorted later on in the week and then work can continue!
