this is one of my favourite buses - so crisp and clean - feel good

I'm on vacation :D in Dana Point CA, it's so nice to see so many really nice vw's and cars here...but not yet seen one to match DH's !

Today I have seen a 49 chevy, glorious in red, 2 x 23 window samba's, 6x EB microbus's, 4 or 5 early 911 or 912's, a really nice 914/6, a baja for sale at $2500, and loads [more than 20] old 60's-70's yanks.

what the spec on your engine ?

:D

Thanks all,

Engine is a 1641 with a dynamicly balanced crank and flywheel, cam is a German Schleicher 292, heads are standard NOS VW (compression ratio is 1:8) with polished inlets, carb maifolds are polished and the carbs are German Riechert solex 34 pci, exhaust is a modified beetle exhaust with 2 type3 endpipes.
Dizzy is a bosch 010.
Further i lost my doghouse cooler and here is a thermostat block that goes to a oil fliter and then to a external oil cooler with fan that switches via a temp feeler in the oil line.
