Fitting JK tow bar help

Does anyone have a JK tow bar fitted to their bus? Bought one this week but it doesn't appear to fit. The uprights fitted into the chassis with no problems but the bar that connects to the uprights doesn't fit. The bolt holes are about 2cm out of alignment. Everything is stock on the bus.
If anyone has one fitted are they able to measure the how far apart the bolt holes are one the bar that runs between the uprights?

Have you tried loose fitting the entire bar then go round after tightening the nuts n bolts afterwards.

Looking for a towbar that will fit with Empi quietpack exhaust.... Any suggestions

So threw out the instructions and finally got it fitted :mrgreen:

Tight round the bumper arnt they :mrgreen:

Yep very tight. Had to do quite a bit of loosening and re tightening to get it to fit.

I'm busy fitting mine now & it's tight against the exhaust :shock: !

Yep tight against exhaust and even tighter on the bumper

Actually once it's all bolted up there may be a 2 or 3 mm gap I reckon???

Does that sound right??

A couple of the bolt heads are about 1mm off the bumper
