fitting push rod tubes

hi how easy isit to fit spring loaded push rod tubes with the engine still in the bus or does it have to come out as it looks possible has any one done this

very easy dude. Just make sure all the seals are seated properly and dont buy the really cheap ones as they are rubbish :)
 
remove the rocker covers, remove the rocker shaft assembles and pull out the push rods. mark the inlet and exhaust for each cylinder. cut the old tubes out with tinsnips, clean the area where the tubes seat. smear some sealant on the new tube ends and seals and slip them in. Do that 8 times, re fit the rocker shafts and covers. job done. :D
 
just done one side took about 1 hour easy job !!! hard parts thre bolts on the tin ware lol

i cursed about tinware screws when i was building my engine :lol:
