flat four BRM's

Hi, just bought some flat four BRM's for my early bay but after fitting on the back wheels they are almost touching the wheel arch. Does anybody know if its cos the tyres are too big? They are yokahama 185's

I'm having the same problem, but with 195/60.
Was hoping 185/60 would fit, but seems like 175 might be better.

I'm sure I read on here that 175s are better suited to BRMs due to the offset (12?)

This week I shall be purchasing 4 x 175/60 15 tyres. :lol:
