For sale - 1971 Danbury RHD on eBay now £5750.

This belongs to my mate Steve who is a freelance mechanic and welder.
He is selling it because he needs to turn it into cash which is a real shame. :(
His welding skills are second to none and this van has been restored with a view that he will be using it to transport his family about for fun and holidays, so you can imagine the attention to detail that has gone into this restoration.
Don't take my word for it - if your looking for an early bay then go and view this van.
It is on ebay here for £5750 - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/?ViewItem&item=110286012394.
The restoration is 95% complete and no corners have been cut. Have a look and make your own minds up, but if you want a nice solid RHD van you could do a lot worse.

I have no avested interest in this sale - I just think it is a seriously nice van for the money.

I'd be interested to hear what people think of the price that he's put this van up for?
I think its a steal at that price but no-one has bought it yet so - am I wrong?
Are early bay windows really worth as much as they seem to be or are people just sticking huge pricetags on them when they chuck them up for sale?
I'd be interested to hear if anyone has bought or sold one recently and how much they actually paid as well as spec and condition obviously...

So what do you reckon? Fair price or not?
