My lovely 1970 westy tin top is up for sale. He's a US import (from Arizona) and is rock solid. He's got a 1641 engine, is lowered one spline at the back and on an adjustable beam at the front, he's taxed and MoT'd, in pastel white with a full length roof rack. He has a full westy interior, including the stool, cab bunk and rear fly screen. He comes with a JK camper cover, a chequered bra and a period '70's awning. Please email me for pictures as I'm not great with technology ([email protected]). He's up for £10k as he's a cracking bus. Come look see.....

Up for a great looking westy.

A six month wait and a bank account £500 lighter was worth it! It's so handy for surfboards - had five or six stacked on it in Croyde last year and it looked the nuts!

Not cheap but the best quality polished stainless steel and retro.

A must for any tin top.

Sorry about hijacking your thread there Ann, waffling on about that lovely roofrack.....

Great bus though and good luck with the sale....

Did I notice somewhere else that you might be looking for a split crewcab....

The rack came from Creative Engineering.

Hi Carole

I sold you the rear overriders in the Summer.... hello!

Thanks for the compliments, he's a great bus and I've had a shed load of fun with him. Yeah, I'm after a split crew next but it'll have to go on the back burner for the time being. Hope you're well.

Hi VWAddict

Thanks for the compliments about the bus. I'll eventually be replacing it with a split crew cab - not just yet though, there's too much other stuff going on in my life!
