Hi just to help you there is double sided tape where the badge was although some think this is a major problem thanks i also have the glass heated but the elements are worn it is 40 years old

in the picks there looks to be rust inside lower edge its sika flex sealer come on some one must want a tailgate all you got to do is bolt it on no painting unless its the wrong colour lol
