Sssooooo want to do this again, missed the last 2 years but really enjoyed the 3 before.
My boy has heard many tales of previous trips, ascertained it is a drinking event and has confirmed that the legal age to buy and consume alcohol in Belgium is 16.
He is 16 on the 10th of December this year..........
He is also doing his GCSE's this year, so some seriously hard work and sucking up to his mother is in order to even stand a chance of going.
We haven't even broached the subject of EBI yet, the pair of us having done the last three means we can't miss this one surely?
Oh, we have major oil leak to sort, a little bit of welding on NSF jacking point for mot and maybe steering box tweeking/repair/replacement to sort out.
Fingers crossed is all I can say so far......

Not yet Andrew.
Usually goes as follows:
Catch Eurotunnel early on Saturday morning.
Meet up with rest of English cruise in Calais.
Cruise to Witkap brewery - arrive around 3pm.
Carry on drinking into the night at the Roxy Bar
Show starts on Sunday 9am.
Drive home late afternoon.

Great event and have not missed one since 2009.

whats the score with sleeping? is there a hotel that you use or is it okay to kip in the bus?

Hi All

We normally stay in a local ibis , you can sleep in your bus which is hardcore. You never know who you might be waking up with in the morning

Might be running Wiggy down on petrol leave the LPG tank empty, maybe it might be worth a phone call to eurotunnel to find out?

Should be ok not too sure, but they do ask about LPG. I just say no none on board miss! If not why not catch the ferry on Friday night and make a long weekend of it
