I've got a Foksy on the top beam of our '71 Dormobile, which would normally be fine.

However, I've also narrowed the beam by 4".

What I've ended up with is a Foxsy adjuster that won't rotate around its full extent. There is not enough twist in the bottom leaves now, because of the narrowing, to allow the Foksy to rotate.

Think what I'll end up doing is cutting and turning the bottom beam to compensate.

Anyone else experienced this?

(wished I'd gone the double adjuster route now)

springs will naturally get stiffer if they are shortened. Its a problem as now the adjuster is still only working on one spring while the other has got much stiffer. If your going to cut and turn, i would do both bars as you could really mess up your ride....
