Planning to replace all the brake lines on my 71 van, and need to know if the long pipe front to rear has a tube to guide it as I push the new one in. I can't tell what happens after it dissapears through the chassis as my van still has the central belly pan!

Oh and does anyone know if the brake pipe kits from heritage etc actually even contain the long pipe?

Thanks

Yes it does. I still have mine because I have the middle belly panel fitted and....

buy a flanging kit for £10-15 and the pipe yourself and DIY. its one of the most simple things to replace on the bus. those kits are a rip off and you could buy enought pipe to do 10 buses for the same price.

Thanks,

Any definate answer on the 'tube' question? don't want to end up with the horror scenario of having no pipe in there and being unable to feed a new one through
