I have been tipped the wink that friends of mine will be advertising their 1970 Bay Westfalia for sale in the next few days, so I thought I would post up some "insider info" for you
It has approk 55,000km from new (yes, thats right 34'500 miles!!!!)
1600 Engine
Itallian Import with the Hella side indicators
In Blue
Westfalia conversion (already said that)
TOTALLY RUST FREE & NEVER WELDED - This is the cleanest Early Bay Camper I have ever seen, and the 2nd Cleanest Bay I have ever seen (this being a Bay late Panel van with 78miles on the clock). There are a few minor blemishes on the ORIGINAL & UNTOUCHED paintwork, but nothing to worry about - you would never get to be 39 years ond without a blemish or two!
I dont have any photo's yet, nor much more information at the moment, but as soon as I do I will post it on here.
I would think the price will be in the order of £14,000
It will be at Broghton Breeze this weekend if you want to take a look
