Prob a noob question however I removed my fuel cap to get a paint match but now I am unable / do not know how to refit the spring and it is driving me mental!

Any ideas?

Well, I got frustrated after a few attempts and left it to my housemate, who's not technically minded at all bless him. There's a notch in the bodywork if you feel inside the fuel aperture, and a similar one on the door- the spring just pops into place over those, It is a pain though!
