Fuel pressure regulator

As above anyone got one knocking around there parts collection they don't need.You see I've got twin 40 kadrons and I'm using one of those cheap looking billet regulators and I think it's playing up as on the way home from work she cut out and wouldn't start I'm assuming it was fuel starved and the regulator is my first option

Try disconnecting the fuel pipe to the carbs and see if you get any fuel out when you turn the engine over.

I actually got it started after a while and I got to work in it this afternoon ok so I'm wondering if its an intermittent problem with the regulator ?
I know kadrons don't have the best reviews but they have been ok up to now
If I get time tomorrow I'll give them a strip and check there's no shit in the jets
Trouble is I've got no other transport and need to get to work so don't like to tinker when at least running
