gearbox code

I have been offered a co code gearbox,I cant find any info on them,anyone know anything about them?I need a replacement for a ca code,also will a later ce fit if i swap the front housing over with mine.

A CO 'box is the same as a CA 'box.
A CE 'box is almost a straight swap as the bell housings are the same, you will have to change the clutch for a later type though.
The gear ratios are the same in all 3 gearboxes.

Thanks for the reply,The CE box was from a late bay as the mounts were on the top of the bell housing,I assume you can swop over,although mine has studs and nuts the ce is bolted on,no big deal to swop just highlighting the differance I saw.

I swapped to a CE 'box a few years ago, other than fitting a later clutch it went straight on.
