Just got the email confirmation -
3 adults and 2 campervans = £725!

Im not grumbling and I know its a completely different kettle of fish but Ill never question the price of VW shows again!

The wife got 2 tickets for her and her mate plus the van, I asked her where mine was and she said 'you dont need a ticket to babysit'

According to Radio 1, the organisers expect a few tickets to become available as people drop out

It is a lot of cash but to see each band individually would cost a hell of a lot more so its horses for courses really.
Think that because its also the 40th anniversary of glastonbury, people are expecting something special, i now i am :msn4:

jings, sold out already?

back to the way it was a few years back i guess

though i remember when you could get a ticket from a record shop a month or so in advance

that was when i bought tickets, there was a time when i never bothered, mind you just as well i never had a van then, not sure how i'd have got it over the fence ;)

smaller festivals are the way forward for me, even the big chill has got a bit big

Im a 40 year old Glasto virgin! Never been, always wanted to, and the past few years its been close to the EBI dates so not convenient. This year we just thought we should try it, to see. I guess we become part of the middle class middle aged festie goer that ruins it for the kids and hippies - but ... whatever! ;)
I wish Id done it for free as a kid when Id have jumped the fence and tripped off my face for the weekend

  dude you are so true! I had one year when i got taken to Glasto on the Wednesday in a tour bus then came back into focus on the following Tuesday and woke up, got off the bus to step out into the Glasto noise and realised we had left the place and I was in a services on the M1

Had a great weekend by all accounts and even managed a 45 min set! dont remember a thing apart from throwing loo rolls out at the crowd

Would love to go again, but i fear its all students now with matching wellies ;)

We're (more or less) in the same boat, The wife was 40 this year and pregnant, never really had a party so we delayed it a year
She is now looking at wedge wellies (£60    ) and also some for the daughter but its a 1 off, will probably stick to V festival in the future (its at Weston Park and about 15 mins away (same place as Camperjam))
