Heading down to Glasto next Tues / Wed, anybody else going on here?
Cant bloody wait, especially as the gods looked down on me and said 'this year you can go without the wife and kids' :msn4: and she only bloody agreed, happy days :D

Yes, going down on Tuesday after work and all that. We are actually 'working' this year with the 'Olive In A Bus' gang, so if you fancy a tasty olive based snack .... ;)

Who says Glasto is a middle class sellout these days? :?

I did my open air concerts when I was a long haired hippy.

I dont like crowds, over loud music or mud these days - so thats me out then -

Have a good time guys :)

I do enjoy a good olive ..... be careful to leave enough time to work and play Mike ;)

Anyway, having called off the trip to EBi I have a weekend planned in the New Forest at the Aldridge Hill site ..... but I have also entered the BBC Radio 2 on line competition to win tickets to Glasto so who knows? but in reality, I've never won a random entry competition in my life, or even £100 with premium bonds that I had for donkey's year so in reality .... fat chance

Enjoy the weekend everyone, at least I have Oxfordshire's middle class country picnic weekend called Cornbury to look forward to in a few weeks time

As Ben said in Life of Brian, "You Lucky, Lucky *******"

I'll be living and working in the Croissant Neuf area, if anybody wants to say hello! I warn you though, I'll likely be absolutely bollocksed!

Tried to go 20 yrs ago and ended up on a disused airfield somewhere with 20000 ravers and hippies for 4 days. 4 days of hardcore techno gets a bit tiring after a while. Some guys from work are going though, glamping in a posh motorhome.

Sounds like you did it wrong!

I wish, been trying to get a ticket for years. This year was, laptop, ipad and phone logged onto the website and still nothing!!!!!! How do these people get tickets every year?
Went in 1983, got very stoned and missed a whole day. Going to see Kasbian and Paul Weller instead, at least its just down the road.
