Surely if we have 23 orders we should be able to push for the full discount especially if we are only short by one?

Aaron. Have i got it right, that if unsure go for the roof fitted one as i can fit horizontal and vertical if i require.

Not going to many shows this year, so may have to hold onto it for a while, unless someone is around the somerset area.

yep it will fit in all 3 orientations

the horizontal and vertical are actually the same unit...

Cheers for that.
Unsure where to fit it at the moment. Thought that i would play safe.

I've sent everyone a PM with the details. Please arrange the payments / cheques asap then I can make the main payment ASAP.
rustydrive - I've included you too. We might make the 40% but I'm sure there will be a couple of drop outs. If we make it, then I will refund everyone the saving.

£140 + vat @15% = £161 unit cost discounted 10% 144.90 , 20% 128.80 , 30% 112.70 , 40% 96.60

with Chaffegaurd @ £18 = £179 , 162.90 , 146.80 , 130.70 , 114.60
with switch @ £20 = £181 , 164.90 , 148.80 , 132.70 , 116.60
with both @ £38 = £199 , 182.90 , 166.80 , 150.70 , 134.60

£15 postage to be split across the total units

remember you cant just post these out so its a matter of passing them around at shows/through clubs and meets etc....

So working on these prices are we paying for the raw price and then we get refunded any discount at a later date.

AFFF with chaffeguard b - £168 Foam with Chafeguard, or is this at the 30% price?

Was expecting around the £130 mark'ish.

Hi Rusty
I've sent Adam a PM response on this as well as I can't agree the figures against what we were originally quoted from Tim at Firetec. The base afff unit is £140 which less 30% takes it down to £98 or £84 at 40% discount. Then add the bolt ons @ £18 + £20 takes it to £136 + VAT @15% takes it to £156.40 or £140.30 if we get 40%. The only extra to add is the share of the £15 delivery costs

At £188 we are going to have a few dropping out methinks which means the 30% will vanish as well and we are in danger of the whole order falling away

David

Hi All,

Sorry, those prices are wrong. That was the price the SSVC guys paid, I would give a refund if any has/had paid.

We should be paying the 30% off price. Sorry having a shocker today...

Unit and chaff guard (b) £130.70
Unit, chaff guard and switch (c) £150.70

Personally, I don't see why anyone would sit on the fence waiting for the 40% and not get one at the 30% discount. The price difference at a guess wouldn't be much more that £10 either way, then you look at the pure cash value of the bus, (ignoring any other value you place on your ride), and there's £10k gone even on an average bus if god forbid you have a fire.

I agree - can't understand it! how can £10, even £20 ish can sway you on a bus worth at the least 4.5 - 5k at least, some many times many ££ more. £10 - a hand wash and wax would cost you more!! no offence mind you :)

anyway, soap box away  That revised price sounds more realistic, did have a bit of a shock on the PM - even with the chaffe guard & switch :)
cheque on its way Adam - and may I say THANK YOU to ADAM & JIM for taking the time and trouble to arrange and organise this - much appreciated - a credit to the Volksie scene!

Cheers- Rob
