Hi,

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far.

The rubber stopper on my handbrake has perished but I am having trouble finding a replacement.
It's likely no one makes them anymore but I thought I would ask if anyone here knows of any place that does stock them.

If they are not available I assume people have just used something else not originally intended for this purpose. Unfortunately I don't have easy access to my bus at the moment, it's currently being worked on, so I have no real idea of the dimensions to look for something similar. I thought that someone here may have already found a good substitute or at least could confirm it's a case of just DIY'ing it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure no one sells these. Looked for one last year.

Unless someone else has found a supplier?
whs ^ been collecting parts for my resto and this is one i have not found .

I did`nt even know such a thing exsisted. I guess the one on my 68 is long gone then. How about using a short piece of rubber hose?

Thanks for the replies all. At least I know I'm not the only one having problems finding this particular part.
I'll just have to keep an eye out for something suitable.

Cheers.
