Hi, owner of a 1970 westy, my wife is really keen on s/s headlamp eyelids, what's the forums view on them and are they easy to fit? I have read previously that they never fit that well- is this right? Also a source of good quality ones appreciated, Many thanks

I've got some to fit to mine and i think Ant has some on his.
Unfortunately they are a bit like marmite (you either love them or hate them)
I used to have some on a classic shape mini and they suited it

i had some on ours - they fit really well - but i dont think i really like them!

Hi, I have some on mine.. Most men aren't keen but we ladies like them :D A bit of a pig to fit without knocking the headlight alignment out but worth it in my opinion. I think I got mine from Heritage?! :D

i have a set i can give you, (i dont like them either, just my opinion). Its kinda like your bus is wearing eyeliner.

My Florida bus came with a cheeky pair from the states, they have a ridged front which seams to be the only bit that hasn't rusted....they are going back on once she is on the road!

They are the van equivalant of Pot Pourri. More nuisance than any perceived use, but still used regardless! ;)

they look cool on early sloping light beetles but not on late ones or most buses, it makes them look sleepy. but if you like them you do it it's your ride.

Ozziedog,,,, ;) ;)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and these eyebrows look rank on any vehicle in the eye of this beholder.
Everyone has different tastes, think I have made mine clear :D Each to their own. :D

Thanks for all the comments... Didn't realise I'd split the forums views so strongly!!! ;) so do they fit ok without a bodge and which ones are the best to use? Many thanks jon

Not only do they look awful, they help trash your headlights as often it causes water to get inside the lights, they are always inferior chinese stainless steel that ends up rusty within a year or two. Seriously don't bother. It's almost as bad as them kids in halfords drooling of the rip speed bolt on shiny shit!
