Help - Diagnosing fuel Gauge prob

Hi all

Just got the bus out from winter store and apart from teh fuel pump coming apart on the way home it seems ok -
apart from fuel gauge not functioning.. Was fine when i put it away. Very occasionally it flicks up to position
but mostly its resting on teh end stop.

I jiggled all thh fuses and the connectors I could reach behind the instrument panel but no dice. Anyone know of the obvious weak spot where these fail ?? Please don't say at the fuel tank !!

I had a similar issue and fortunately I already had the engine out for a rebuild so finding the loose ground near the tank was easy. Today I topped off the tank and the gauge reads fine now. Good luck.
