Help with Gearbox

Hi Does any one know where we can get our gearbox fixed its jumping out of first gear, and there is a slight rumble in 4th, in the north west would be good but distance is not a problem.
Contacted Cogbox they want a eye watering amount of money

I had my 3rib upgraded to a freeway flyer by Bears Motorsport, but likely to be similar price to Cogbox.

There's a guy called Stephen Brear in Leeds, apparently he's a magician with Gearboxes. Worth giving him a ring!
Most of the local garages who have cars come in with gearbox problems send them out to brears, including modern VW auto boxes, I guess if he can fix these new things the old stuff should be easy!
