im quite handy with a set of spanners and a lump hammer but im lacking some technical knowledge about lowering vans.

iv heard all about spindles/ adjustable beams and splines but id like to see some kind step by step fitting guide. is there some kinda guide on the net?

it would be cool if people could post up there bus, explaining how its been dropped, and how it rides etc...

Here you go buddy!

Some good sound and solid advice here you'll find

OK, there is a Tamworth in N.S.W. It is the Australian home of "both kinds of music" and ther is a lowering guru in Sydney

Drop Kimm an email and tell him I sent you. He will either send out the hounds after you or tell you what you need to know. He exports stuff all over the world and he has made all the gear for loweing my bus.
Mine has adjusters and torsion bar stiffeners up front and split adjustable spring plates down the back. I can wind it up or lower it in about 30 minutes. I don't lift it up very often but I had fun with it scraping the ground for a while but now I have it where it looks pretty & low but rides a bit better than at it's lowest.
