How do I fit this headlight bulb?

Can anyone help? I bought this headlight off e bay:

But it came with no bulb holder, and the bulb holder on my old headlights didn't fit. So, I then bought this bulb holder from e bay:

Now, I can work out how the bulb holder fits to the headlight, what I can't work out is how the bulb fits in the holder. Here's the bulb, it fitted fine in the old headlight by the way:

And also, how do I fit the side light holder:

My van is a 1972 cross over. From my experience, I assume that it had different lights to other vans?

Put the bulb in the head light then put the spring side of connector on to back of bulb then shoul all be sandwiched together , then turn the black bulb holder it should lock in place ,
As for side light , mine has 2 copper prongs coming out of rear of light unit to send earth and power , Hope this helps a bit ? you my need new connectors
