How hot does heater air get?

Just out of interest how hot does the main heater pipe when in use? The main 70mm one under the van?

Just I was gonna buy 70mm stainless pipe as its cheaper than the metal ones from vwh etc but I have tons of plastic upvc which is ok for pretty hot air.

Pretty warm, hot enough to distort my rev counter pod on the dash.

Our heating as always been spot on - travelling back from Ninove in the snow I had a red face from the hot air blowing through!
It was lovely and toasty - although Im not totally sure if I can make paint blister like Si :shock:
